Recreational Lots

One of the special characteristics of Ocean Shores is that the city allows people to use their property for camping with a recreational vehicle. When you have a lot with all utilities installed, you can use your recreational property up to 120 days per year. If the lot does not have all utilities, then the limit is 90 days with a self-contained recreational vehicle. When you are camping, you will obtain a camping permit using the online portal found at osgov.com. The permit needs to be on display when you are using your site. Two RV's are allowed to be parked at the same time. During the summer months, it is common to see people camping on their property. It is nice to know you have a dedicated spot that you own. Many people, like myself, decide to go from camping to building on their lot. Then, you can get a permit to stay in your RV while your house is under construction. I would be happy to help you find a great vacation spot and if you decide to eventually build, I have first hand experience and connections to guide you in the process of site development and building.
